90 Day Fiancé’s Vanessa Shares Good News About Colt’s Recovery

90 Day Fiancé star Colt Johnson is doing better after what happened to him during a trampoline scene that he was filming with wife Vanessa Guerra.

90 Day Fiancé star Colt Johnson celebrated his second wedding anniversary with Vanessa Guerra on a happy note after breaking his leg in a freak accident in December 2022. The 37-year-old Las Vegas man, best remembered for his stint on 90 Day Fiancé season 6 with Larissa Lima, has come a long way. He’s cut off ties with his over-protecting mom Debbie Johnson and is happily married to Vanessa, who used to be his friend with benefits when he dates Jess Caroline. However, fans may never get to see Colt again on-screen, as he’s quit the TLC franchise after what happened.

90 Day Fiancé’s Colt Johnson underwent multiple surgeries after the incident. He was wheelchair bound and his bladder had stopped working because of anesthesia and pain meds. But according to Vanessa’s new Instagram story, Colt has almost recovered three months after he fell. Vanessa shared a photo of Colt standing on his feet and smiling for the camera with a takeaway coffee cup in his hand.

The sign, “Center for Trauma & Fractures,” was visible behind Colt, who according to his wife, is “up and walking again.” However, Vanessa added that Colt still has a limp, and he is struggling with pain. Despite it, Colt is “doing great.” Vanessa said that they celebrated their 2-year anniversary “yesterday,” meaning on the 28th of February. “It’s been a hell of a journey,” wrote 90 Day Fiancé star Vanessa with a laughing emoticon on her Instagram story.

What Is Colt Johnson From 90 Day Fiancé Doing Now?

Colt’s wife had not revealed the reason behind his severe injury when she first posted photos of Colt from his hospital bed. Vanessa instead asked fans to send their prayers, even to those who may not like him. As Vanessa began documenting Colt’s recovery process online, fans were curious about what happened to Colt and how he dislocated and broke his leg. Mid-February 2023, Vanessa was asked if she had any plans of returning to 90 Day Fiancé with Colt. “I refuse to film anymore,” Vanessa had said in her reply. Vanessa confessed it was “unlikely” that Colt would film 90 Day Fiancé again.

Colt hasn’t been posting anything on his own Instagram. It’s only Vanessa on whom fans rely for updates about Colt’s health. Vanessa did not reveal why she is done filming for the show. But she did suggest it was because of the accident that Colt had to literally learn how to walk again. However, Vanessa did imply it was because of a trampoline accident. Colt was filming a scene on a trampoline with Vanessa, and it went “terribly wrong.” But again, no more details of Colt’s accident and what led Vanessa to take the shocking decision to leave the show entirely were shared.

While Colt continues to recover day by day, Vanessa is by his side giving him the strength he needs. However, Debbie has been living her best life with her new boyfriend Tony in Canada, and when she’s not across the border, 90 Day Fiancé star Debbie is often seen in Las Vegas with her man or going on road trips. Debbie was the main reason why Vanessa and Colt briefly separated following a miscarriage they had. Colt too, has distanced himself from Debbie now that he recalls the way she emotionally manipulated him starting from his childhood. Still, even as Colt recovers, there are high chances fans may never get to see him back on his feet on 90 Day Fiancé again.
