Avatar’s Aang & Korra Leak For Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl’s box art reveals multiple new additions to the platform fighting game’s roster, including two powerful Avatars.

Leaked box art for Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has revealed several new characters, including Aang and Korra from the Avatar: The Last Airbender franchise and Ren and Stimpy. The upcoming platform brawler looks to borrow heavily from Super Smash Bros., but it will feature a large roster of characters from throughout Nickelodeon history. From Spongebob Squarepants to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, the game is set to be a veritable “who’s who” of Nicktoons celebrities.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl‘s lineup of animated warriors is instantly recognizable to any cartoon fan. Several residents of Spongebob Squarepants’ Bikini Bottom will be playable, including the titular yellow sponge and his dim companion Patrick Star. At least two of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Michelangelo and Leonardo, will also bring their advanced martial arts moves to the fray. Some more obscure characters will join the fight, too, like Powdered Toast Man of The Red & Stimpy Show, will be represented in the platform brawler. Two additions characters, the animal hybrid CatDog and the Ninja Turtles’ ally April O’Neil, have recently been revealed as well.

Based on leaked box art of Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl from the Nintendo Switch eShop, posted to Twitter by EternalFlameGuy, two major characters from Avatar will be appearing to fight in the game. The box art features both Aang and Korra, the respective protagonists of The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra. Korra is known for her fighting prowess, making her an obvious choice for inclusion in the game. While Aang is more pacifistic, focusing on agility over power, his status as the Avatar allows him to utilize all four elements in battle. The leaked box art also reveals Ren and Stimpy, the main characters of the absurd cartoon of the same name. Another character from Ren & Stimpy was previously revealed, Powdered Toast Man, so the inclusion of the show’s main stars is not particularly surprising.
