In a franchise that is often riddled with questionable leadership, Below Deck Sailing Yacht Captain Glenn is quickly becoming a fan-favorite.

Captain Glenn recently shared a photo of Below Deck’s Kate Chastain, who went on to appear on a reality show called The Traitors, writing in support, “Are you watching my girl @Kate_Chastain…She slays!” In the same fashion, after meeting up with every captain across the Below Deck franchise at BravoCon, his words were nothing but supportive, saying “One of the best highlights was meeting these four Captains for the first time in person…Instant friends, can’t wait to catch up again.”

With over 21 years in the industry and 12 years as the captain of Parsifal III, the actual boat featured on Sailing Yacht, Captain Glenn is definitely qualified in joining the ever-expanding Below Deck franchise. That said, it’s his demeanor that is quickly setting him apart. While drama is common on these shows, it’s not well received coming from a Captain. Many fans, unfortunately, find themselves stuck in toxic workplaces, with bosses who show favoritism, micromanage their efforts, or even belittle the efforts they make. Seeing a boss on television who behaves in this way can be triggering. Drama should be left to the crew, with captains stepping in only when necessary. This is where Captain Glenn shines.

Sailing Yacht season 4 has already been filmed, with Captain Glenn once again in the wheelhouse of sailing yacht Parsifal III.
