In a new preview for Batman vs. Robin #4 by DC Comics, Bruce Wayne points out that Damian’s training has given him offensive attacks even he doesn’t know to counter – making it difficult to take the former Robin down, even for someone as skilled as The Dark Knight.

In a new preview for Batman vs. Robin #4 by Mark Waid, Mahmud Asrar, Scott Godlewski, Jordie Bellaire, and Steve Wands, Batman confronts Damian Wayne (in his own Batman costume), as he tries to break him free of the Devil Nezha’s magical control. As Bruce and Damian fight, the hero points out that with the former Robin having so many teachers in his training – even ones unknown to him – that stopping him in a one-on-one fight is more difficult than anticipated, as he can’t predict all of his counters and attacks.

Damian Wayne’s Batman is Being Forced To Fight His Father

Damian Wayne is currently under the magical possession of his grandmother, Ruh al Ghul, and the Devil Nezha, who have controlled the hero to help gain some of the most powerful magical artifacts in the DC Universe. The villains intend to use the magic power to seize control of the universe and turn the inhabitants of Earth into their own demonic army. Damian is among the heroes controlled by evil forces and is fighting his father, Batman, to prevent him from foiling the dark plans for the DC Universe.

The fight between Batman and Damian, where the original Dark Knight recognizes his son is a better Batman in one key way when it comes to his training, is setting the stage for the upcoming Lazarus Island event, which will see the DC Universe change as a result of an explosive eruption that will happen in Batman vs. Robin #4.
