The Hierarchy of Needs is a brand-new Exotic Bow introduced in Destiny 2‘s Season of the Seraph. In addition, the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon just released, with plenty of Warmind-inspired equipment for Guardians to collect. Throughout each encounter, Guardians will face many enemies as they complete puzzles and earn an assortment of loot.
Hierarchy of Needs can be obtained from the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon. Additionally, the Exotic Bow only drops from the final encounter. Unfortunately, this means that Guardians will likely need to play through the Dungeon multiple times. Fortunately, completing Spire of the Watcher becomes easier as players memorize each puzzle in Destiny 2. Throughout the process, Guardians have a chance to collect new equipment as well as additional seasonal currency.
How To Increase The Hierarchy Of Needs Drop Rate
Players can only earn the Hierarchy of Needs from the final boss in the Dungeon. Like most Exotics, this Bow has a low drop rate, which can lead to Guardians completing the activity many times. Fortunately, there are a few ways that players can increase these drop rates. Three Triumphs can be completed in the Dungeon, each increasing the odds of obtaining the Hierarchy of Needs. The challenges and how to complete them are listed below:
Triumph |
Description |
---|---|
The Magnificent One |
Complete all Dungeon encounters solo |
Resident Vexpert |
Complete all Dungeon encounters on Master difficulty |
Devil in the Details |
Listen to all the devilish recordings throughout the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon |
Skilled Guardians can also complete two additional Triumphs in Destiny 2 to increase the Exotic drop rate further. Both Mind the Vexplosion and Untarnished Grit require that players finish the Dungeon solo without dying. While these are incredibly challenging, Devil in the Details can be earned in the first or second run of Spire of the Watcher.
How To Earn The Hierarchy of Needs Catalyst
Guardians can get the Hierarchy of Needs Catalyst from completing the Dungeon on Master difficulty. The recommended light level for this version of the activity is 1610, meaning players may need to wait until they enhance their armor. The Catalyst grants the Perk Protocol: Emergency Scramble, which moderately reduces the Bow’s draw time and reload speed. This is activated only when deploying a Guidance Ring to hit an enemy with one of the seeking arrows.
Guidance Ring is the main Exotic Perk for the Hierarchy of Needs. Precision hits and kills from this Exotic Bow in Destiny 2 will build energy. Upon reaching six stacks, Guardians can hi-fire to create a Guidance Ring in front of them. The unique Trait, Apollonic Tangent, causes arrows fired through the Guidance Ring to release, seeking projectiles and dealing more damage based on the distance traveled. The drawback of this Bow is the slow draw time, but the Catalyst fixes this issue. Guardians that wish to deal tremendous damage from a safe distance should acquire the Hierarchy of Needs in Destiny 2.
