Dragon Quest Treasures: How to Unlock Pre-Order Bonuses
The way in which payers can redeem their bonus items for pre-ordering Dragon Quest Treasures depends on how they purchased the game.
Players who pre-ordered Dragon Quest Treasures or got the Deluxe Edition are eligible to receive bonus items with their purchase. Dragon Quest Treasures is a spin-off game from the iconic JPRG series that was released on December 9 for Nintendo Switch. For players who reserved a copy of the unique adventure, they will need to take different measures in order to make sure that their bonus content is in their inventories when they first start the game.
Players who pre-ordered can receive a handful of bonus items for each of the game’s versions, which can be highly rewarding for those anticipating getting early impressions of Dragon Quest Treasures. Players who pre-ordered the Standard Edition of Dragon Quest Treasures will receive 5 Chimaera Wings, 15 Better Buddy Bullets, and 15 Fullheal Pellets. Players who pre-ordered the Digital Deluxe Edition will receive the same items, plus some Monster Allies and 25 Omniheal Bomb, an AOE healing item. Although the items received will be the same for everyone, the way to obtain these items depends on how players purchased their copy of Dragon Quest Treasures.
How to Get DQT’s Pre-Order Bonuses
There are three means by which players could have pre-purchased Dragon Quest Treasures: the eShop, the Square Enix store, or through Amazon. In addition to being able to recruit monsters in Dragon Quest Treasures, players can access their pre-order bonuses after visiting any of these shops. Regardless of whether players preferred to have a physical or a digital copy of the game, the processes they have to go through to download their copy remain the same.
If players pre-ordered either the Standard version or the Deluxe version of Dragon Quest Treasures from the eShop, their extra items will be downloaded automatically with the game. For players who collected either a digital or physical copy of the game from the Square Enix Store or Amazon, they will receive a code along with their invoice from purchasing Dragon Quest Treasures. This code can be entered under the “Redeem Code” section of the eShop in order for players to redeem their early-purchase rewards.
After players have purchased their preferred version of Dragon Quest Treasures and entered the required download codes, their bonus items will soon appear. Unless players got their copy of the game from the e-shop, they might notice that these items do not appear right away. However, after players have finished Dragon Quest Treasures‘ tutorial level, the bonus items they were promised upon pre-order will become available in the game.
