Genshin Impact: Where To Find The Fan In The Second Test Of Courage

[ad_1]

The second Test of Courage in Genshin Impact’s Akitsu Kimodameshi event arrived and requires players to find a fan hidden in Chinju Forest.

Genshin Impact’s Akitsu Kimodameshi limited-time event requires finding a fan in the second Test of Courage. During the Inazuma event, the Traveler needs to find three distinct items hidden in Chinju Forest to be crowned the winner. The trials consist of choosing a partner for the Traveler and finding said items, but there are ghastly things happening where the event is being hosted.

Talking with the Akitsu Kimodameshi shrine maiden will initiate the second part of the quest and set players after the fan in the second Test of Courage. Before searching for the item, however, they will need to choose a partner from three options: Thoma, Sayu, and Yoimiya. Once again, none of these characters are featured in Genshin Impact 3.3’s rerun banners but are here to show support for the local and spooky festivity.

Second Test Of Courage: The Fan’s Location In Genshin Impact’s Akitsu Kimodameshi

Genshin Impact' Chinju Forest at night is marked by blue-glowing flowers and multiple red Torii gates, all surrounded by trees and the moonlight.

The second Test of Courage in Genshin Impact prompts players to start their search for the fan from a different location than the first. The Traveler will first contact the shrine maiden from the southern portion of the Chinju Forest, as opposed to the northernmost start point from the first trial. Although this is a straightforward search, it is also easy to lose track of the correct location and end up walking in circles.

Instead of heading south, like when searching for the Dango Milk’s location in Genshin Impact’s first Test of Courage, players should follow the route north, towards the torii gate pathway. Once they arrive at the first gate, players should follow the signs and turn left, avoiding the torii gates altogether to continue their search for the fan in the second Akitsu Kimodameshi Test of Courage. This will take players deeper into Chinju Forest.

Players should notice this is the moment when the signs that are pointing to the second Test of Courage’s fan location start to get confusing, and direct the Traveler and their chosen companion to a multitude of locations. They must continue on their path to the west, crossing the river where Ayaka offers Traveler a kimono in Genshin Impact and performs a dance. They must then continue walking until they reach a small statue.

When they are there, they should change the Traveler’s direction to the northwest, where they will start climbing a small slope towards a cliffside. Between a crevice in the cliffside, players will have reached the fan’s location in the second Test of Courage. While finding the item is the main challenge, the quest in Genshin Impact’s Akitsu Kimodameshi event is far from over. Players should then find Arataki Itto and continue the storyline that leads to a new Akitsu Yuugei challenge in Genshin Impact.

Players assume the role of the “Traveller,” a protagonist who survives a great battle against a powerful god and is separated from their sibling in the aftermath. Awoken by a small flying character named Paimon, the Traveller embarks on a quest to find their sibling and restore their lost memories in an unfamiliar world. Players can add new teammates they meet through the storyline via a gacha system. Characters roll out in patches but are never added permanently to a poll so that new team members will rotate in and out depending on the current patch. Gameplay consists of embarking in teams of four and engaging in fast-paced action RPG combat along with Zelda-like world traversal, from gliding, climbing, swimming, and sprinting. New events are launched with every patch, and unique gameplay modes and mini-games are added with each iteration.
