Hogwarts Legacy: What Happens If You Steal The Fwooper Feather?

[ad_1]

Slightly different character interactions occur in Hogwarts Legacy if players decide to steal the Fwooper Feather in their first Potions class.

Players of Hogwarts Legacy are given a choice when attending their first Potions class regarding whether to steal a Fwooper Feather from Professor Sharpe’s office to help out a struggling student. Garreth Weasley needs the Fwooper Feather to complete one of Sharpe’s assignments during class, so players are put into a dilemma to either help the student or let them flounder. Either decision leads to a different interaction with both Garreth and Sharpe, giving players a slight deviation in dialogue that gives more flavor to how NPC’s perceive their character.

The player’s first Potions Class takes place as a main story quest in Hogwarts Legacy early, where only a few spells have been learned. Taking the Fwooper Feather does give aid to Garreth, but it does cause Professor Sharper to publicly scold a player’s character in the class, leading to some degree of embarrassment. On the other hand, the Weasley family member has a negative reaction toward the player if they choose not to steal the Fwooper Feather, but will claim to be fine as they try to find another solution to their problem.

Impact of Stealing the Fwooper Feather in Hogwarts Legacy

Hogwarts Legacy Player Dialogue Choice to Steal Fwooper Feather in Potions Class for Fellow Studnet Garreth Weasley

Unfortunately for the player, there are no real consequences for choosing to steal the Fwooper Feather or not. While the changes in dialogue appear between both Garreth and Sharpe, the theft of the Fwooper Feather potion ingredient in Hogwarts Legacy, or lack thereof, does not change the quests or conversation options related to them in parts of the story later. With no real repercussions, players are free to pick whichever option appeals to them at that moment with little to no worry about what happens after.

The only reason players might wish to steal the Feather for Garreth comes from their future interactions with the character in a quest later on. The Weasley student approaches players regardless of their choice in Sharpe’s classroom in a proposed plan to break into the Honeydukes sweetshop in Hogsmeade.

As for Professor Sharpe, the lecture given for stealing the Feather might be degrading, yes, but this doesn’t stop players from learning how to craft powerful potions in his class. Unless players want their character to be incredibly respected by all the professors at Hogwarts, it really does not impact their gameplay in the future to take the potion ingredient from Sharpe’s office.

While the answer to what happens when players steal the Fwooper Feather in Hogwarts Legacy seems to be, “nothing”, other decisions do impact the ability to learn certain magic, so players should be careful with their choices regardless.
