Potions and their ingredients are part of the core gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy, with items such as Ashwinder Eggs being essential for players to find if they wish to craft the Endurus Potion for higher defenses during battle. Elusive when compared to other potion components found throughout the vast open-world players explore, Ashwinder Eggs thankfully have several locations where they spawn consistently. While this ingredient is best found once players acquire a Broom to travel across a wider space, players are able to purchase these Eggs a bit earlier if they have enough galleons to spare when visiting Hogsmeade.

J. Pippin’s Potion shop offers Ashwinder Eggs for 150 galleons, a small price considering how players obtain the Endurus Potion recipe for free after finishing the main quest “Potions Class”. Although players are more than capable of searching every inch of Hogwarts for treasure and other secrets, an easy solution for quick galleons would be to sell unwanted gear in Hogwarts Legacy. Finding the Ashwinder Eggs Potion Ingredient in Hogwarts Legacy

As seen by content creator FP Good Game, Ashwinder Eggs are spotted through their bright orange color, and are usually seen in groups of three among larger collections. As these items seem to appear the most in mountainous regions, players are incentivized to use their Broom as much as possible to reach these areas. The final and perhaps the most dangerous spot for players to get Ashwinder Eggs is South Felcroft‘s Astronomy Table, where four groups of the item are guarded by a pack of wolves.

These mentioned areas are not the only sections of the map where players obtain Ashwinder Eggs, but they are probably the most consistent. Checking back to these areas periodically gives players a fresh yield of the desired potion ingredient, allowing them to craft Endurus Potions en masse for their next quests.
