Hogwarts Legacy: Where To Get Wiggenweld Potion
Wiggenweld Potions restore health in Hogwarts Legacy and require one Horklump Juice, one Dittany Leaf, and the ability to craft potions.
Even though it is mainly known for its ability to wake those under the effects of the Draught of Living Death, Wiggenweld is also used for its curative properties. For example, in Hogwarts Legacy, the Wiggenweld Potion restores a portion of a player’s health bar. To ensure Wiggenweld Potions are always available when needed, players should begin crafting them as soon as possible.
The ingredients for the potion, one Horklump Juice, and one Dittany Leaf are relatively easy to obtain. However, potion brewing isn’t skill players have directly upon entering Hogwarts. Therefore, they can be purchased until players learn how to create potions later in the game. Inventory space for Wiggenweld is capped at 25 potions.
How To Craft Wiggenweld Potions in Hogwarts Legacy
The ability to make potions unlocks after attending a Potions class taught by Professor Sharp. As YouTuber Ventus SGN points out, the Potions class quest comes directly after Professor Garlick’s Herbology assignment, in which players are made to plant Dittany and are given a seed pack for future use. The potion crafting table in the classroom can be used along with the station that will be in the Room of Requirements once players have progressed that far in their play-through.
The potion requires one Dittany Leaf and one Horklump Juice. Learning the potion requires a small quicktime event, but after it is learned, it will only take 15 seconds, and each station will yield one potion per brew. Unlike almost every potion recipe in Hogwarts Legacy, the Wiggenweld recipe does not have to be purchased for players to brew it because it was learned through the Potion class.
The Dittany seeds are the most economical way to get Dittany Leaves for potion brewing. Seeds can be planted in the Room of Requirements, or leaves can occasionally be taken from the plant in the Herbology classroom. The seeds take several minutes to grow, so it’s best to constantly grow them if players find they run out of potions often. Leaves can also be bought at the Magic Neep, though. Horklump Juice can be found in the wild near Treasure Vaults and caves or purchased from a potion vendor.
Wiggenweld Potions are available for sale in Hogsmeade at J. Pippin’s Potions for 100 Gold. His stock is not infinite, though, and players can only buy several at once before there is a restocking period. While players visit J Pippins, they can also collect a Hogwarts Legacy Demiguise Statue in a small building east of his shop if they have unlocked Alohomora 2.
