How To Do The Charizard Tera Raid Solo in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

[ad_1]

Unbeknownst to many players, it is possible to complete the Charizard Tera Raid alone in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. Here’s how to do it solo.

It’s time for Pokémon Scarlet and Violets first 7-Star Tera Raid against a Dragon Tera Charizard. Many Trainers want to defeat this Tera Raid event because they can finally get their hands on the recognizable Kanto starter Pokémon. Players can finally catch a Charizard in this raid in Scarlet and Violet, along with other rewards, but Trainers must defeat the Charizard before adding it to their roster. Despite not being the most challenging boss in Pokémon history, this unique raid variant of Charizard can easily catch unprepared players off guard and terminate the battle before it even begins.

Players must finish Scarlet and Violet’s postgame content and have access to 6-Star raids before accessing this 7-Star raid. Players need to level up and EV-train their Pokémon as much as possible in preparation for the level 100 event Charizard. Players will battle the Dragon-type Tera Charizard in this raid, which uses several Dragon-, Flying-, and Fire-type attacks. The strong Pokémon also uses Sunny Day and other attacks such as Overheat, Fire Blast, Hurricane, Dragon Pulse, Inferno, and Tera Blast. Solo players must decide on a solid strategy for taking on this Charizard in Scarlet and Violet.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet Capturing Seven Star Tera Raid Charizard

Azumarill is the most obvious pick among all the Pokémon available in Scarlet and Violet for taking on this 7-Star raid. It is entirely immune to Dragon-type attacks and can withstand Charizard’s powerful Fire moves with its Water-/Fairy-type. In addition, the move Solarbeam can deal significant damage to Azumarill. However, this Charizard does not use it. So, the main thing players need to worry about is having their Azumarill hit by Charizard’s Hurricane move. Azumarill also has a scary ability in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Huge Power, which doubles its attack stat and increases damage output. Azumarill may also use the move Belly Drum, which lets the user reduce their own HP to increase its attack, which, combined with the Huge Power ability, makes for a deadly combination.

There are several options for Azumarill’s moveset and equipment. Belly Drum, which gives Azumarill a +6 attack, is a fantastic choice to begin raids with. Azumarill’s Play Rough is also important because it deals the most damage among any Fairy-type move. The other two moves have a variety of alternatives, but Rain Dance is frequently a wise choice because it will weaken Fire-type attacks and can replace Charizard’s Sunny Day. After using Belly Drum, Azumarill can benefit from holding a Sitrus Berry or a Shell Bell as it heals. When it comes to EV training and nature, the most damage may be output by maxing up Azumarill’s Attack by setting its nature in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet to Adamant. There are a few other viable options for fighting Charizard, but this Pokémon and its tailored stats appear to be the players’ best hope in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
