Like a Dragon: Ishin – All Global Fraud Answers

[ad_1]

During a substory called A Global Fraud in Like a Dragon: Ishin, players have to provide answers to three questions about geography for some rewards.

One side story in Like a Dragon: Ishin called “A Global Fraud” has players help a local school teacher by answering a few questions about geography from their students in exchange for a couple of rewards. Like most of the optional side quests in the game, players find these quests by running into one of the many interesting characters that may have been found entirely on accident simply by exploring different areas. In addition, players can help out anyone that approaches protagonist Sakamoto Ryoma and are recommended to do so if they want to increase their overall Virtue.

The Global Fraud substory doesn’t unlock until players have reached Chapter 3 of the main story of Like a Dragon: Ishin‘s stylish samurai tale, which allows them to pass the large gate leading to the Rakunai area. When passing by the corner between South Teramachi Street and Teramachi Street, a school teacher approaches Ryoma looking worried. A brief discussion occurs where the teacher voices their need for help with teaching their students about locations on a globe he doesn’t quite understand. Players may choose to attend his class as the teacher’s “apprentice” to prevent the man from being exposed as a fraud by answering whatever questions the children might ask.

The children’s first question in the privately funded school relates to where a small island nation is on the map. The players’ choices are Japan or Britain, although they can recheck the map if needed. The answer remains Japan either way, tying into Like a Dragon: Ishin‘s feudal Japan setting despite having figures that resemble modern characters seen in the Yakuza series. The second question dives further into historical context as it relates to the era of power in China that Like a Dragon: Ishin takes place in, with the answer being the Great Qing Empire.

Answering all Global Fraud Questions correctly will also let players get 300 Virtue.

An intelligent student asks the final question, inquiring about the location of the United Kingdom on the provided map. Players are given four countries as possible options, but only Country 4 displays the nation the young student asked about. The class and teacher will be impressed with Ryoma’s knowledge, leading the character who initiated this substory to come clean to his students and apologize. Those looking to farm money in Like a Dragon: Ishin will be happy to receive the valuable European Fabric item as a reward for giving every Global Fraud answer and 300 Virtue.
