Pokémon Scarlet & Violet: Best Glimmora Build for the Tandemaus Tera Raid

[ad_1]

The Rock- and Poison-type sweeper, Glimmora, is one of the best counters for the upcoming Tandemaus Tera Raid Event in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.

The Ore Pokémon, Glimmora, will potentially make an exceptional partner for players participating in the upcoming Tandemaus Tera Raid Event in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. While Tandemaus is a traditional Normal-type monster, it’s been pictured sporting a Fairy Tera-type in this event, giving it access to powerful moves of both types. This makes Glimmora a perfect counter to Tandemaus, given its Rock- and Poison-typing. With the ability to resist Tandemaus’ moves and deal a huge amount of super-effective damage, Glimmora is guaranteed to lead trainers to victory in this raid event.

Glimmora can run incredibly well with both offensive and defensive builds, similar to Gastrodon’s build for Pokémon Scarlet & Violet’s Tera Raids. In the upcoming Tandemaus Tera Raid Event, Glimmora will battle its best as a special sweeper with a complementary nature, EV spread, and moveset. Ideally, Glimmora should be equipped with one or two status moves like Acid Armor in addition to its strongest Poison-type moves to make up for what it lacks in defenses if necessary. However, Glimmora may not need to bulk up at all, considering it resists both Normal- and Fairy-type moves, leaving trainers with several options for an effective moveset.

Glimmora’s Best Nature & EV Spread

Glimmora's Best Nature and EV Spread

According to the Youtube channel PIMPNITE, Glimmora’s best nature is Modest, which will raise its Special Attack stat while lowering its Attack. To maximize its stats, players should ensure that their Pokémon is Level 100 and fully trained using the Hyper Training feature in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. With perfect IVs (Individual Values), Glimmora’s EVs (Effort Values) should be spread with 252 points in both Special Attack and Speed and the remaining 4 points in Defense. Glimmora should out-speed Tandemaus with this spread, allowing it to easily land devastating super-effective hits.

Glimmora’s Best Moveset

Glimmora Dex Entry

Since Glimmora will operate best as a special sweeper in the Tandemaus Tera Raid, an ideal moveset should include its most powerful Poison-type moves to maximize damage. An exceptional set consists of Mortal Spin, Sludge Wave, Venoshock, and Acid Armor because it allows Glimmora to set up as necessary and sweep. As one of the best Rock-type Pokémon in Scarlet & Violet, Glimmora also has access to strong Rock-type moves like Power Gem, but these moves won’t be the most effective against Tandemaus. However, trainers may opt for other helpful moves like Spiky Shield, which will prevent an opposing Pokémon from striking while dealing damage back to the opponent.

Glimmora’s Best Battle Strategy

Glimmora's Best Battle Strategy

One of the best items for Glimmora to hold during the Tandemaus Tera Raid is the Rocky Helmet, which damages the holder’s opponent each time it’s struck by a physical move. The damage will stack with Tandemaus’ multi-strike move, Population Bomb, so it’s in every player’s best interest to obtain the Rocky Helmet in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet. With the help of this item, Glimmora can either set up using Acid Armor and Mortal Spin, then follow up with Venoshock and Sludge Wave, or it can lead with its offensive moves and sweep. In any case, Glimmora is fully equipped to take down Tandemaus with this build in the upcoming raid event in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet.
