RHOC: Elizabeth Vargas’ Ex-BF Allegedly ‘Barricaded’ Himself Inside Home

Elizabeth Vargas’ ex-boyfriend allegedly barricaded himself inside her Newport Beach home on Tuesday night. The RHOC star was reportedly unharmed.

Former cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County Elizabeth Lyn Vargas’ ex-boyfriend reportedly barricaded himself inside her Newport Beach home. Viewers would remember Elizabeth as the one-season-wonder from season 15 of RHOC. She was brought onto the show through Kelly Dodd, who was fired from RHOC ahead of season 16. Despite being the newbie, Elizabeth had one of the most captivating stories from season 15. 

The former reality star revealed that she grew up in a cult that was initially started by her family. Elizabeth escaped as a teen and was able to confide in her neighbors about the abuse she was enduring in the cult. The FBI was then called, taking down the cult and setting Elizabeth and her family free. While fans sympathized with Elizabeth, she wasn’t asked back for season 16 along with Kelly and their other castmate Braunwyn Windham-Burke.

A source close to Elizabeth told TMZ  earlier this week that the former RHOC star’s ex-boyfriend barricaded himself inside her home after she called the cops. Elizabeth, who received a contract before her firing, was allegedly having ongoing issues with her ex and decided to call the police on Tuesday to report him for possible extortion. The outlet was told that the ex-boyfriend showed up at her home while the police were there and decided to barricade himself inside. Their law enforcement sources revealed that one person was in custody; however, they will be sweeping the place to make sure no one else is hiding inside. TMZ also shared several photos of at least seven police officers outside Elizabeth’s home for safety. Elizabeth was reportedly not taken hostage and was luckily not harmed. 

TMZ received an update on the Elizabeth story earlier this morning with images and videos of the several SWAT officers surrounding Elizabeth, who was raised in a cult, and her home with semi-automatic rifles. Police officers also utilized armored vehicles and drones to find and capture Elizbeth’s ex to get him out of her home without causing any harm. Luckily, the police were able to arrest the man inside her home who was presumably her ex. It is unclear who the ex is, but fans of RHOC might be wondering if the man was her boyfriend from last season. Elizabeth was in a relationship with her boyfriend Jimmie, who she famously did not want to be intimate with until her divorce was finalized. The identity of the man has yet to be confirmed, so this is all speculation. 

Thankfully, Elizabeth got the unknown man out of her home without any harm done to herself. While the photos make it seem like her home was a warzone, the police were able to solve the situation peacefully. Hopefully, more updates on this matter will be issued.
