Most recently, the Samuels took to social media to deny rumors they were headed for divorce. But amid the chatter, The Jasmine Brand reported that Monique and Chris would not be returning for LAMDC season 2. Monique then decided to confirm the news on her radio morning show WPGC. According to Monique, she and Chris planned on returning to allow viewers to see their journey of “navigating our marriage issues.” However, due to “contract issues,” Monique claimed the family opted out of filming. She then insinuated that a “divorce narrative” was “put out there” amid their filming hiatus. Monique now wonders “who leaked that narrative” and not the fact they never filmed because of failed contract negotiations.
