Signs That 90 Day: The Single Life’s Debbie Will Regret Meeting Tony

[ad_1]

Debbie Johnson from 90 Day Fiancé is still together with her Canadian boyfriend Tony, but many fans think that her relationship will end in a split. The 70-year-old woman, who fans first met on 90DF season 6, has had a redemption arc unlike any other franchise cast member’s. Plenty of people seem to have forgotten how Debbie treated her son Colt Johnson’s ex-wife Larissa Lima, and Jess Caroline, whom he dated after his marriage ended. The “monster in law” showed no mercy.

However, lonely Debbie, who stayed single for 13 years after her husband Harley Johnson died, received sympathy from fans, who were rooting for her when she met Tony. Debbie underwent a total transformation by losing weight, getting a haircut, changing her hair color, and updating her wardrobe. She did this before her 90 Day: The Single Life season 2 debut. Her getting a tattoo was perhaps a sign that Debbie’s new boyfriend had a few of his own. In fact, one of Tony’s tattoos is what is making him look like he’s not the right man for Debbie. Here are more reasons why there’s a chance that Debbie’s romance with Tony will fail miserably.

90 Day Fiancé Stars Debbie & Colt Might Never See Eye To Eye

Fans saw Debbie babying Colt during his debut on 90 Day Fiancé season 6. However, over time, Colt realized that Debbie was to blame for the majority of his problems. While Debbie gained respect from certain audiences, particularly after season 3, fans feel that the real Debbie is the one who emotionally abused Colt for most of his life. Fans associate a term called, “enmeshment trauma” with Debbie now, because they think that she was completely emotionally dependent on 90 Day Fiancé son Colt until she met Tony. Now, it seems like Tony has replaced Colt, as Debbie is filing for permanent residency in Canada. Months have passed since she saw her son during the Tell-All, so it’s easy to understand why the gap between her and Colt keeps growing.

90 Day Fiancé Star Debbie Is Dissed For Defending Tony’s Tattoos

Fans claim that, “Evo zore, evo dana,” which is tattooed on Tony’s lower back, translates to, “Here comes the dawn, here comes the day,” a Croatian marching song first used by the fascist Ustaše. The pattern of the enormous tattoo on his back also distinctly resembles the sigil used by a Croatian fascist group, which was responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Serbians, Jews, and Romani people.

While 90 Day Fiancé star Tony has not released any statement regarding his tattoo, Debbie once told fans (via u/MommySaysBadTurdsToo) that it’s not a white supremacy tattoo, as it’s just the, “Croatian flag.” Debbie even said, “you are as stupid as you look,” to a fan, and accused them of, “spreading lies” for attention. She further declared, “Tony is the least racist person I know,” adding, “It does not now or ever has been a Nazi symbol.” Debbie speaking on behalf of Tony was seen as problematic by fans, while some called her out for being xenophobic herself, due to the way that she treated Larissa and Jess Caroline.

90 Day Fiancé Star Debbie Suffers From Homesickness

While 90 Day Fiancé celeb Debbie might have moved to Canada with her cats, she’s also left her long-term lifestyle behind. Debbie contemplated a lot before making the big decision. However, she seemed to have had no other option left, with Colt having moved out to live with Vanessa Guerra, and Debbie becoming almost homeless after the lease for their home expired. During the Tell-All, Debbie admitted, “my staying in Canada is becoming a problem.” She spoke about having to wait until February 2023 to get her permanent residency. “I don’t have any medical up there. All my stuff is in storage,” said Debbie, who’s not taken all her things, because she’s not really sure whether she’ll continue residing in British Colombia. Debbie finds it, “depressing,” and if things do go south between 90 Day Fiancé couple Debbie and Tony sometime in the future, it won’t be an ideal situation for the Las Vegas woman.
