The art style of Mutant Mayhem may be its best aspect, perfectly pulling off the funky character designs of the TV shows. It seems like Mutant Mayhem may finally get TMNT right on the big screen.

What We Know About Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem’s Story

Not many details are known about the story of Seth Rogen’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, but the trailer does give some hints. The film will follow the four turtles as they leave the sewers for the first time and hit the streets of New York City. While there, they meet a human reporter named April O’Neil who enlists their help in taking down a group of unknown criminals.

Surprisingly, it seems like longtime TMNT villain shredder won’t be the main antagonist of Mutant Mayhem. Instead, the film is setting up Baxter Stockman (played by Giancarlo Esposito) to be the villain. Stockman is an eccentric scientist who is often obsessed with creating mutants.
