What To Expect From The Boys Season 4

MM, Hughie, and Starlight in The Boys season 3 finale

The Boys season 3 wrapped up with the worrying hint that Ryan might take after his villainous father, Homelander, smiling after witnessing a crowd’s delighted reaction to the fact that Homelander brutally kills a protester. Ryan’s role in The Boys season 4 is set to expand, with actor Cameron Crovetti confirmed to join the cast as a series regular. There are other big additions to the ensemble, as well: Firecracker will be played by Valorie Curry, while Susan Heyward will portray Sister Sage.

In addition to those superpowered characters, The Boys season 4 will also be a bit of a reunion for Supernatural creator Kripke. Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Rob Benedict, who both recurred on Supernatural, will appear in season 4 of the Prime Video series. Rosemarie DeWitt has also been cast in the role of Hughie’s mom. So far, the upcoming episodes don’t have an exact premiere date.

Other details have been shared, such as the title of The Boys season 4 finale: “Assassination Run.” That may suggest an end to the status quo of the show, which has so far been reluctant to kill off any of its major main characters. With the cast always growing, the upcoming installment may just be the perfect time to shake things up.
