Welcome To Plathville: Everything To Know About Olivia’s New Hedgehogs

After Welcome to Plathville season 4, Olivia Plath welcomed two new additions to her family when she adopted a couple of adorable hedgehogs. Olivia currently lives with Ethan and Moriah Plath, along with her younger brother, Nate Meggs. Their home is getting more and more crowded, as they have the hedgehogs, as well as Moriah’s new European Doberman, Blackjack.

This season of Welcome to Plathville was especially hard for Olivia, as she continued to struggle in her marriage with Ethan, and confronted her past trauma with his family. She and Ethan still have problems communicating, as Ethan likes to avoid having tough conversations. Conversely, Olivia enjoys talking about her feelings. Her feud with her mother-in-law Kim Plath continues to impact the rest of the family, but fans were proud of Olivia for eventually pushing past those feelings, by supporting the rest of the Plaths while they deal with their Kim and Barry’s divorce.

Several Plath kids took to social media and made a joint statement about sticking together, while Ethan and Olivia noticeably did not repost it. Ethan and Olivia have been traveling in Europe for over a month, escaping the drama and exploring France, Scotland, and Spain. Eagle-eyed Plathville fans noticed a change in Olivia’s Instagram bio, as she added the word, “Amour” next to Ethan’s name, and a new account, @halleandhattie, which is all about her hedgehogs.

The separate Instagram account specifically for her hedgehogs already has over 1K followers. Fans are hoping that Moriah will follow suit and create an account for her adorable pup as well. The Welcome to Plathville star revealed that the hedgehog’s names are Halle and Hattie. The account is not super active, as there are only two posts so far, and it has not been updated since June 19. Olivia seems to be the one running the account, and she has been busy posting to her regular profile, adding pictures of beautiful sunsets in Spain, and dips into the fairy pools of Scotland.

While Ethan and Olivia were off traveling, Moriah and Nate were the designated hedgehog-sitters. Plathville fans want to see more of Nate, as he seems to bring a calming presence to their house, along with some much-needed cooking advice for Moriah and Ethan. Many fans were worried, after the joint posts from the Plath siblings surfaced, that Moriah and Olivia were fighting again. However, they still seem to still be close to each other, and they’re living under one roof with the pets. Fans are eager to see more of the cute hedgehogs, and hopefully they will make an appearance on a future Welcome to Plathville season.
