Alex was one of Siesta Key‘s original cast members. While on the reality series, he was known as the playboy of the Florida shore. The two dated for years, and even saw each other while Alex was dating his current girlfriend, Alyssa Salerno. Vanderpump Rules star Lala Kent, and Jayde Nicole from The Hills, spoke out against Siesta Key, after Alex was accused of animal cruelty. Alex ‘Kompo’ Got Into Hot Water After Siesta Key

The former star was a main cast member on Siesta Key for three seasons. In response to the Black Lives Matter movement, MTV made the decision to fire Alex due to his racist past. On June 16, 2020, Siesta Key tweeted, “We’ve made the decision to cut ties with Alex and are editing the current season to minimize his presence. He will not be in future seasons of Siesta Key.” This decision came halfway through season 3 of the reality show, and confirmed that Alex would not return for Siesta Key season 4. Many fans were elated by the news, as they were fed up with Alex’s troublesome behavior on and offscreen.

Alex & Alyssa Welcomed a Daughter

Following his firing from Siesta Key, Alex has kept a low profile. After losing his career as a reality star due to his inappropriate actions on social media, Alex’s decision to keep more to himself seems like a smart move. Although they had to work through the reality star’s infidelity, Alex has been spending his post-MTV days with his girlfriend Alyssa and their daughter. Alex and Alyssa’s child Alessi was born on June 11, 2020, only a few days before Siesta Key producers announced that they were parting ways with the unpopular star. Just as fatherhood has changed Brandon Gomes, Alessi’s birth appears to have worked its magic on Alex. His latest Instagram posts have featured him with Alyssa and Alessi, whom he is clearly devoted to. This indicates that Alex’s priorities have shifted away from the media, and towards his family.

Alex is the most disgraced star from Siesta Key, from his racist past to his celebrated firing. Since getting axed from the MTV reality show, he has taken a step back, and is focusing on his girlfriend and one-year-old daughter. Fans of the show, and Alex’s family, seem to have benefited from Alex’s departure from Siesta Key.
