What Happens To The Captured Passengers In Manifest Season 4?

Eagan and a number of the passengers were rounded up by the 828 Registry in Manifest season 4, part 1. What’s going to happen to them now?

The fates of several passengers remain in question after the Registry rounded up several of them in Manifest season 4. Eagan is among the detainees currently in the custody of the Registry. But based on how Manifest season 4, part 1 ended, he may soon be joined by other key characters on the show.

Run by officers in the employ of the NYPD, the 828 Registry has taken a strong stance toward the Flight 828 passengers. Fueled by the chaos caused by Angelina, the Registry is now making efforts to detain every passenger they can find. Eagan was placed behind bars in a cell filled with passengers. Saanvi and Vance have been captured as well, although it’s not abundantly clear yet what will be done about the latter since he’s not an actual passenger.

What Will The Registry Do With The Passengers?

When the order to capture all the passengers was given, all that was said is that they would be “detained” on United States soil. For now, they’re all being kept in a single cell, but that’s sure to change now that it’s been established that they’ll be held indefinitely. As for what exactly the Registry will do with the Flight 828 passengers, they can’t send them to prison for crimes they haven’t committed under any real legal system, which is why their most likely destination is a camp of some sort.

As illegal as this would be, it’s worth noting that nothing so far has stopped the Registry from doing as it pleases yet. It’s arrested numerous characters without merit, and there’s no indication that will change when Manifest returns. Until something happens that forces them to cease their activities, Eagan, Parveen Kaur’s Saanvi, and the others may have no choice but to languish for months in a detainment camp. If the second half of the season opens with a time skip, they may already be there.

What The Registry’s New Plan Means For The Other Passengers

If the Registry has its way, Ben, Michaela, Adrian, Cal, TJ, and any other passengers that’s still on the loose will be arrested in the coming days. For that reason, it’ll be imperative in Manifest season 4, part 2 that these characters go on the run. Since they’re all essentially fugitives now, the only way for them to continue their efforts to stop the Death Date is for them to avoid capture at all costs. Not only is this a massive change to the status quo for the show’s final episodes, but it’ll also add to the challenges they’re already facing in preventing the apocalypse. In addition to fighting Angelina and deciphering the Callings, they’ll also have to stay one step ahead of the Registry at all times.
