When Genshin Impact 3.4’s Release Date Is

[ad_1]

Following Genshin Impact 3.3 and all its subsequent content, developer HoYoverse’s RPG will be updated with Genshin Impact 3.4. The next version of the game will bring in new characters, and certain leaks suggest that it will also receive a new area and related boss, events, and more. The patch has been a constant topic of discussion among the player base, which has been on the receiving end of said leaks.

Currently, 3.3 is now live, and presenting players with a new Archon Interlude Quest, the card game Genius Invokation TCG, and much more. While the current patch has introduced the much coveted Anemo superstar Wanderer, Genshin Impact 3.4 will introduce new characters Alhaitham and Yaoyao. Both heroes had been previously announced and should arrive along with the next patch’s release date.

Genshin Impact 3.4 Arrives in 2023

It is expected that Genshin Impact 3.4’s release date is set for mid-January, 2023. Taking into consideration the usual six-week schedule for each patch, the next version of the game should arrive around January 18, 2023. The assumption is made based on HoYoverse’s customary weekday of choice for updates.

Version 3.4 is Prone to a Delay in Genshin Impact

Of course, the speculation around Genshin Impact 3.4’s release date should be taken with a grain of salt. As there has been no official information from HoYoverse at the time of writing, the new patch’s arrival is still subject to change. For now, players should focus on finding the best Genshin Impact team comps for Wanderer, or even gather Primogems to pull for him, for instance.

Although HoYoverse has been following through steadily during the past few months regarding updates, another possibility is that Genshin Impact 3.4’s release date is simply delayed beyond the prospective release date that conforms to the usual release schedule. There has been no indication whatsoever that this will happen with the next patch, but it is common for delays to happen unexpectedly.

Earlier this year, the open-world RPG was impacted in such a manner. As suggested by previous rumors and then confirmed by developer HoYoverse, patch 2.7 was delayed indefinitely in April. Of course, the Genshin Impact 2.7 delay resulted in Primogems and more compensation rewards for players, until it ultimately came out on May 31. Although there are still no signs that this will happen in Genshin Impact 3.4 and its calculated release date, 2.7’s delay caught most players by surprise at the time.

While Genshin Impact 3.4 is expected to arrive on January 18, 2023, players should have their hands full until then. Aside from the aforementioned Wanderer, which has only recently been introduced as a playable character, 3.3 also launched Genius Invokation TCG, a card game based on Teyvat’s many characters and creatures. Beyond this, Genshin Impact 3.3 will also have multiple events, offering players a plethora of rewards.
