Where To Find Cyclone Of Chaos in God of War: Ragnarök

[ad_1]

The Cyclone of Chaos is an excellent ability for dealing with hordes of enemies and preventing Kratos from being overwhelmed in God of War: Ragnarök.

Taking on multiple enemies in God of War: Ragnarök at once can be a challenge, especially when hostile mobs are outside of the camera’s view, but executing the Cyclone of Chaos will ensure any nearby enemies will get a taste of Kratos’s blades. Cyclone of Chaos is a Light Runic Attack that enables Kratos to perform a circling sweep attack, during which he will cast out his Blades of Chaos and begin swinging them in a ring around his body.

The twirling blades will deal decent damage but primarily provides excellent crowd control by stun-locking enemies while Kratos’s cyclone is active. Accordingly, the Cyclone of Chaos is one of the best Runic Attacks to use in the Muspelheim’s Trials.

Finding the Cyclone of Chaos in God of War: Ragnarök

Cyclone Of Chaos Treasure Chest Location in God of War Ragnarök

To find the Cyclone of Chaos Light Runic Attack in God of War: Ragnarök, players must head to the Lake of Nine, a spacious location north of the Sanctuary Grove in Midgard. By the time Kratos has access to this location, he should have unlocked the wolf sled Speki and Svanna, enabling players to travel to the site much faster than on foot. After arriving at the lake, players must head to the Raider Stronghold, the notable central location.

A chest containing the Cyclone of Chaos in God of War: Ragnarök is located within the interior of the Raider Stronghold. Players can search for this chest by using the temple entrance on the northeastern side of the lake, southwest of the King’s Grave. Based on gameplay footage by YouTuber SwanyPlaysGames, the entryway to this Midgard Treasure Chest is distinguishable by a fire-lit lamp hanging above its icicle-covered doorway.

Enter through the doorway and into the chamber inside. The room will be quite dark, with only a small bonfire to the left providing the area with light. However, if players walk further to the south, they will eventually find a well-lit, snow-blocked hall with a Treasure Chest. Looting the chest will unlock the Cyclone of Chaos in God of War: Ragnarök.

Game8 rates the Cyclone of Chaos in God of War: Ragnarök with an “A rating,” as its range is perfect for dealing with enemy mobs that are tricky to see. Furthermore, the reach of the blades is excellent for damaging and stunning multiple enemies at once while also knocking them back after the final sweep. As mentioned above, Muspelheim’s Trials of the Crucible is a great place to use the Cyclone of Chaos, as some challenges require players to fight hordes of dozens of enemies. Any AoE abilities in God of War: Ragnarök will undoubtedly be useful for such combat situations.
