Where To Find Mirror Herb in Pokémon Scarlet & Violet

To get the Mirror Herb Battle Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must visit the Delibird Presents in the oasis city within the Asado Desert.

One of the most useful quality-of-life improvements added in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet is enabling Pokémon to learn compatible Egg Moves from other party members during Picnics by using a special Battle Item known as the Mirror Herb. As its name suggests, this herb will permit a Pokémon to “mirror” another pocket monster’s stat increases to enhance its own stats. This procedure does not require the herb holder to be of the same Egg Group as the Pokémon it is mirroring. As a result, Trainers do not have to deal with the stat or Move limitations of previous titles.

There is currently only one way to get the Mirror Herb in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which is through the Delibird Presents shop. Those who have been playing for several hours will have doubtless visited these shops and purchased from the wide assortment of useful odds and ends. However, unlike common items, the Mirror Herb is not available at simply any Delibird Presents branch. This unique herb can only be purchased from the branch at Cascarrafa, the town where players encounter Kofu, the Gym Leader specializing in Water-type pocket monsters.

How to Get Mirror Herbs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

To reach the Mirror Herb’s location at Cascarrafa in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, Trainers must travel to the southeast side of the Asado Desert, north of the small village of Cortondo. Starting from this village, players can follow the main road that goes west and curves northward through West Province (Area One). If Trainers continue this main path, they will eventually reach the oasis city of Cascarrafa. However, the main challenge of obtaining the Mirror Herb is not getting to the Delibird Presents in Cascarrafa. Instead, the obstacle that might keep many players from buying this Battle Item is its high cost of ₽30,000.

Of course, those who have reached postgame content by completing the main campaign will see ₽30,000 as mere pocket change. Nonetheless, Mirror Herb can still be an expensive product for many Trainers in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Therefore, those who lack sufficient funds are encouraged to follow the ideal method recommended by Game8 for earning money — farming valuables from Tera Raids. Tera Raids are not easy to clear, especially at Levels 5 and higher, but Trainers who manage to overcome their Tera opponents will be rewarded with items of high value that can potentially sell for upwards of thousands of Pokédollars. After completing several Tera Raids and selling the rewards received, players should have enough to buy the Mirror Herbs they want in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet.
