Introduced in Generation VIII of Pokémon Sword and Shield, Heavy-Duty Boots is an existing item in the franchise that possesses the characteristics of protecting its holder from traps on the battlefield, such as Stealth Rocks, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, or Sticky Web. Unfortunately, encountering such hazards is not a common occurrence during one’s journey in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. Nevertheless, there might come a moment in combat when Trainers might need this Held Item for their pocket monsters’ survival.

The Heavy-Duty Boots Held Item in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet can be purchased for ₽20,000 at the Levincia Branch of Delibird Presents. Similar to how the Razor Claw is exclusively sold at the Mesagoza Delibird Presents shop, players can only acquire Heavy-Duty Boots from the store in Levincia. Newcomers can reach this city by heading east of Mesagoza into South Province (Area Three). After following the main road eastward, they will eventually reach Artazon, from which they can travel north through East Province (Area Two). Finally, after crossing the zone’s river, they will reach Levincia.

How To Unlock Heavy-Duty Boots in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet

However, according to the Youtube channel, Midnight Wolf that Heavy-Duty Boots will not be available for sale at the Levincia Branch of Delibird Presents in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet until at least four Gym Badges have been acquired. Which badges players obtain is not important as long as they get a total of four. For many Trainers, the Gym Leader Iono of the Levincia Gym will likely be the third Gym Leader they will face on their adventure. If fans continue to follow face Gym Leaders based on their level, the next opponent they must fight will be Kofu of the Cascarrafa Gym.
