Perfect Match star Abbey Humphreys didn’t join the cast until episode 8, but she certainly brought a lot of drama with her. Abbey was originally on Netflix’s Twenty-Somethings: Austin, was on the show after getting divorced at 25 years old and relocating to Austin in hopes of starting a new life. While Abbey still has a lot of life to live, she’s making the most of her youth and documenting a fair bit of it with Netflix.

The Twenty-Somethings: Austin star joined Perfect Match season 1 close to the end of the series, but she did bring a fair bit of drama into the house when she met Too Hot To Handle‘s, Francesca Farago. Francesca, who’s been branded as a villain throughout her reality TV appearances, quickly took a liking to Abbey, and the pair matched for a bit before moving on. Though Abbey left the villa without a partner, she gained a lot of intrigue after the Perfect Match.

Abbey was born in Louisiana but raised in Houston, Texas. After high school, she lived in Austin for a few years before moving to San Diego, California, with her now ex-husband. Abbey, who was on Perfect Match with Joey Sasso and Kariselle Snow, was born on June 18, 1995, and has stated she is a Gemini sun sign, a Pisces moon, and a Virgo rising. Abbey got married at 20, but the marriage didn’t work out, and after five years, she and her ex-husband divorced amicably. Abbey currently lives in San Diego, and after getting her Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics, she is working on getting her Master’s Degree in International Relations.

Abbey, who was on Perfect Match with Bartise Bowden and Izzy Fairthorne, explained that she went to a religious all-girls school when she was younger and felt sexually repressed in the environment.

After giving a few examples of times that the rules were too harsh, including her not being allowed to go to recess for the rest of the year after a teacher said she was discussing something too explicit for class, Abbey explained a few of the relationships she’s been in, ultimately moving on to talk about her marriage. Though she is quiet about the relationship, she explained that she keeps her ex-husband’s identity a secret for his benefit and that there is no bad blood between the two of them.

While it is unclear if Abbey will be on any other shows, it seems like her experience was positive. Though Abbey didn’t find her Perfect Match on the Netflix show, she did make many new friends and got to have the experience of a lifetime during the filming process. With Netflix creating new opportunities for its stars, it may only be a matter of time before Abbey appears again.
