90 Day Fiancé fans are defending Yohan Geronimo’s butcher shop, after his wife Daniele Gates criticized it on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way. Daniele and Yohan first appeared on Love In Paradise: The Caribbean, where they got married in the Dominican Republic after falling for each other in only five months. Daniele and Yohan have now returned to star on The Other Way season 4, where Daniele decided to officially leave America and move to the Dominican Republic to be with Yohan. However, Daniele did not originally disclose these plans to Yohan, who still hopes to move to America at some point.

90 Day Fiancé‘s Daniele and Yohan quickly began to disagree about several things, including Yohan’s butcher shop. Yohan wanted to take Daniele to his meat shop for the first time, which he had only opened a few months prior. Unfortunately, Daniele was not a fan of the butcher shop, and criticized Yohan for leaving the meat out in the open, where it was attracting flies. Daniele later told producers that she felt there were a lot of things Yohan needed to learn about running a business, and added that she could help him because of her experience running her yoga business in New York.

90 Day Fiancé Fans Sided With Yohan & Defended The Butcher Shop

90 Day Fiancé fans on Reddit took Yohan’s side in the disagreement, agreeing that Daniele had been unreasonable. Reddit user u/Alisomnia00_ began a thread on the butcher shop scene, and asked others to share their thoughts on the situation. Fans overwhelmingly sided with Yohan, with one commenting, “I think Danielle is delusional for trying to think that the way things are in New York City are remotely at all close to how things are in the Dominican Republic.” Other fans agreed, and emphasized that Daniele had unrealistic expectations for the butcher shop.

Numerous fans also pointed out that Yohan’s butcher shop is standard for those in the Dominican Republic, and that nothing about his business was unsanitary, or unusual for the area. While Daniele was particularly disgusted with the flies on the meat, fans in the comments explained that people in the Dominican Republic genuinely understand this to mean that the meat is good and fresh. In many places, leaving meat out on the counter in the manner that Yohan did is normal. Daniele was unable to understand this, however, as she was expecting Yohan’s butcher shop to be more similar to those situated in the United States.

While Daniele and Yohan are still new to 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way, they are already receiving a large amount of criticism from fans. Most of the dislike is for Daniele, as fans find her to be particularly obnoxious and over the top. Yohan has a much quieter personality than Daniele, and while fans do not mind him, he has not done much to stand out to them in a good way either. When it comes to disagreements between Daniele and Yohan, however, fans find themselves siding with Yohan, as they think Daniele is unrealistic.
