Why 90 Day Fiancé’s Usman’s Lyrics Tell A Story About His Life

[ad_1]

Usman “Sojaboy” Umar’s music has come up many times on 90 Day Fiancé, as he has released songs about his relationship and his other life events.

Usman “Sojaboy” Umar has promoted his music on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, and fans are noticing how his life events show up in the songs. Though most fans think Usman is only on the show to shamelessly promote his songs, he has still become a fan-favorite for his entertaining personality. Most fans love his music, calling him one of the best musical artists from any 90 Day Fiancé season.

When Usman was dating Lisa “Babygirl” Hamme on Before the 90 Days season 4, he showed his commitment to her by writing a song about her. The song was his gift to her for Valentine’s Day, with lyrics like “Baby girl I will stay with you” and “Baby girl I’m in love with you” to show his feelings. When the pair meant in person in his native Nigeria though, sparks were not flying. Lisa did not like how many female fans Sojaboy had, and he did not want to feel controlled by Lisa. At the time, Usman showed his love with the song aptly named “I Love You,” but the pair later divorced and Usman got onto writing another song about his life.

Usman’s Lyrics Hook 90 Day Fans

Women seem to be the inspiration behind a lot of Usman’s music, and after Lisa, there was a woman named Zara. Unlike Lisa, who is nearly 20 years older than him, Zara is much closer to Usman’s age. The pair started dating after his divorce, and once again Sojaboy wrote a song with lyrics professing his love to a woman. He titled the song “Zara” and says in the song that “Zara is my baby” and “I’ve been wanting your love.” He had a special attachment to the song even after Zara ended their relationship because she couldn’t handle his fans.

The song made another appearance on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days when Usman returned with yet another woman. Kim Menzies reminds a lot of fans of Lisa, as she is also much older than Usman. Kim supports his music career, but didn’t know that the song “Zara” was about a specific woman in his life, leading to friction with the couple. Despite many hiccups in their relationship (and drinks thrown), Usman and Kim are still making their relationship work, and Sojaboy’s new song just got released.

As with his other music, the events in his life pop up in the lyrics, and 90 Day fans love deciphering the message in the catchy tunes. His latest song is called “Wayo,” which has been trending on YouTube. This one is not explicitly about his love life, and fans felt the translation to English made the true message confusing. It does say that “missus are carried away” and “so are the cookies,” which could be in reference to his long-distance relationship with Kim. She also gave him a necklace on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days, which he wore throughout his music video, showing that the pair are still going strong.
