Why Fans On Physical 100 Reddit Think The Show Is Rigged

[ad_1]

Netflix’s Physical 100 is all about physical strength, but some Reddit fans are wondering if one of the most integral competitions within the show was rigged in a contestant’s favor. The premise of Physical 100 is simple: 100 competitors enter and participate in tests of physical strength and are eliminated when they fail until one contestant is left standing. The competitions get harder and harder as the competitors get further, the physically demanding nature of the game making it trickier for competitors to continue on.

With Physical 100 season 1 now having finished airing, fans are taking a closer look at the mechanics of some of the competitions, like American-born retired baseball player Dustin Nippert, who was the tallest of the 100 competitors. Whether it be to better their own physical well-being, understand the mechanics of the games, or simply study the form of the competitors from interest, viewers have taken a closer look at the competitions. In investigating the competitions, some may have found a discrepancy in one of the final competitions.

Fans Think The Physical 100 Finale Was Rigged

Two of Physical 100‘s major competitors, Hae Min and Woo Jin, had incredibly different experiences with a rope-pulling challenge, to the point that some viewers believe that the competition must have been rigged for things to look so off. Reddit user u/Old_Remote_9106, who is a fan of Physical 100, explained, “The way Hae Min pulled at the rope with his entire body yet the rope not even moving was highly sus…Hae Min’s use of his entire body should have pulled a significant amount more…than Woo Jin’s lackadaisical pulling with only his pecs and lats, yet the rope did not even budge.” Another Reddit user in the comment section agreed, saying, “People keep saying “he lost his grip” but there was NOTHING on top of the spool rope, it should have been very slack.”

Was Physical 100’s Final Challenge Unfair To Hae Min?

Though the competition has been allegedly rigged, even pointing out that producers have confirmed they had cut the game into three rounds, others disagree. Instead, some believe that Hae Min simply over-pulled his rope, making it more difficult for him to loosen his grip. Regardless of whether Physical 100, which is liked by The Challenge fans, was rigged or there was a mechanical error in the rope pulley, the fact that fans found it noticeable enough to point out should be an issue for the Physical 100 production team. In future seasons of the show, if there are any, a higher level of attention should be paid to the competitions.

Physical 100, one of Netflix’s most popular recent shows, should be getting another season ordered with all new competitors and more difficult challenges. While the majority of Physical 100 was an authentic look at some of the most physically demanding challenges that the competitors have ever seen, the fact that one of the competitions that decided the winner could have been rigged is something that should change for any future seasons of the show. With Netflix always working on improving its content, Physical 100 should be back and better than ever when it returns.
