Why Little People, Big World Fans Are Divided Over The Farm Feud

[ad_1]

Little People, Big World fans are tired of hearing about the Roloff feud, and have strong opinions. Many are divided between Matt and Zach Roloff.

The Roloff family dispute over the farm and house has Little People, Big World fans in a debate. Matt Roloff and his son Zach Roloff have been at odds for some time over their inability to agree on how to divide and sell the property, and their feud has carried over to social media and family interactions. LPBW fans are ready for an end to the fighting, but are also split on who is to blame for the current situation.

The selling of Roloff Farms has been a hot topic for a while. Though fans have thought Matt shouldn’t put up the farm for sale, the conflict it has brought to the Roloff family has been concerning to viewers. The fight has gone on for some time, and fans took to Reddit to discuss their thoughts in a thread started by u/unhappyisland21. Fans found themselves in two distinct groups; one that believed Zach was acting spoiled and selfish, and one that thought Matt was being unreasonable and a bit manipulative.

Why LPBW Fans Think Zach Roloff Is Wrong

When Zach, Matt, Tori Roloff, and Caryn Chandler met to discuss the farm, Zach and Tori “acted immaturely,” according to fans. Though undoubtedly blindsided by Caryn’s presence in a conversation she didn’t need to be a part of, Zach and Tori did not seem prepared to viewers. A number of fans commented on their inability to reconvene with Matt at a later date, when tempers had cooled off. There was talk that Matt’s sons didn’t want the farm, but it is clear Zach did want the farm, but not at the price Matt was asking for. Some consider Zach to be “spoiled rotten,” and incapable of running the farm due to a “lazy” attitude followers feel they’ve seen over the seasons. In this case, Matt is seen as trying to get a fair price for all the labor he put into the farm for so many years. It wouldn’t make sense for him to give Zach a lot of equity on the farm and not to his other children.

Why LPBW Fans Aren’t On Matt Roloff’s Side

On the other hand, some fans feel Matt is in the wrong. The father of four has long spoken of the legacy of Roloff Farms, but lost some support after Matt called the kids monsters. Some fans feel he has misled his children and is now “hiding” behind an idea of fairness, when it would be easy to gather his kids and “hash out” everything. Others accuse him of being greedy, and “[dangling] the farm over [his kids’] heads.” Caryn’s involvement in the matter is a source of suspicion for fans as well, since the proceeds from the sale would go to her and Matt’s home in Arizona. In addition, Matt’s assertions that things fell apart or didn’t go as he wanted are vexing to fans, as it is clear he could have put more effort into speaking to Zach to clear the air about the farm.

There doesn’t seem to be a way for fans to decide once and for all which Little People, Big World star is to blame for the Roloff farm feud. While some feel Zach is selfish for expecting a portion of the property for a low price with no thought for his siblings’ share, others think Matt has been stringing him along. There’s plenty of blame to go around, but it may take time before the family is back to what it was before.
