Paris Hilton’s mum Kathy sheds details about the star’s upcoming wedding to fiancé Carter Reum

Kathy Hilton has dished up details regarding her daughter Paris Hilton‘s upcoming wedding to Carter Reum.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star told People magazine that she will take the reins with the wedding planning once the engaged couple decide on a date. 

“I’m going to handle the wedding,” Kathy, 62, shared with the publication. “I’m going to sit down and talk with her. And it depends on what month we do it. But it will be beautiful and classic.”

While fans may think Paris will have a lavish over-the-top wedding, the socialite-turned-entrepreneur would actually like it to be more low-key, Kathy said.

“She’s not the fancy person people might think,” said Kathy, who has been married to Paris’ father, Rick Hilton, since 1979.

“The truth is, she’d be happy with white teddy bears and unicorns hanging from the ceiling. She’s very easy breezy.”

Paris and Carter, a 40-year-old entrepreneur and venture capitalist, were engaged in February after dating for one year. The excited bride-to-be confirmed the news on her website and on Instagram, calling Carter her “soulmate”. 

“When you find your soulmate, you don’t just know it. You feel it,” she captioned happy engagement photos and videos on Instagram. “My love and I have been together since our first date and for my birthday, he arranged a special trip to tropical paradise.

“As we walked to dinner along the beach, Carter led us to a cabana adorned with flowers and dropped to one knee. I said yes, yes to forever. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with.”
