Kate Chastain is expecting her first child

In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, the 39-year-old Below Deck alum confirmed the exciting news with her fans and followers, along with the first photo of her growing baby bump, which was covered by a navy blue spaghetti strap dress with white flowers.

“I’m already planning so many birthday theme parties for you,” Kate wrote in the caption of her December 13 post, adding a series of blue and pink heart emoji and sporting what looked to be an engagement ring.

After sharing her baby bump photo, Kate confirmed a due date of May 2023 as she revealed fans will soon be seeing her bump on television.

While Kate exited Below Deck in February 2020 after six seasons, she is still seen on Below Deck Galley Talk and will soon be featured on Peacock’s The Traitors.

“I am absolutely thrilled to become a mother. It’s something I’ve always hoped for so this is truly a dream come true!” Kate told PEOPLE on December 13.

“This is such a new and special experience, so I’m really being protective of what I share publicly, but with new episodes of Below Deck Galley Talk about to air on Bravo after Christmas and The Traitors premiering on Peacock on January 12, 2023, there’s just no hiding my baby bump any longer!” she continued.

As for Kate’s potential engagement ring, it’s hard to say if the bling is anything more than a piece of jewelry, especially considering she said she was “single” in October while attending BravoCon in New York City, per Daily Mail.

Following Kate’s baby news, she was bombarded with congratulatory messages from fans and Bravolebrities alike.

“How did I miss this!??” asked Madison LeCroy. “Congratulations.”

“That burrito you ate is sticking around!!!! Luvu,” joked Brandi Glanville.

“Happiest thing to wake up to!” Mercedes “MJ” Javid declared.

The Traitors will begin streaming on Peacock on January 12, 2023.
