PHOTOS: Erika Jayne Begins Filming RHOBH Season 13 as Tom Girardi is Seen in Rare Outing While Leaving Nursing Home After Indictment

Erika Jayne is back in production on the upcoming 13th season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

As her estranged husband, Thomas Girardi, was spotted out for the first time since he was indicted on charges of stealing $18 million from former clients, Erika was seen filming at her $1.5 million rental home in Los Angeles, which she’s been renting since shortly after her split from the former attorney.

“[RHOBH] filming has commenced following Tom Girardi’s criminal indictment!” Bravo Housewives announced to their followers on Instagram on February 5, along with a series of photos of Erika outside of her home with her dog.

As Erika, who donned a beige MCM jacket and matching pants, filmed with friends at her home, the Daily Mail shared pics of Thomas on February 3 as he drove away from a nursing home in the backseat of a black vehicle.

According to the report, Thomas, who lives in a restricted memory care unit, was seen wearing a blue and white striped button-down as he put on a “cheerful” front amid his ongoing legal issues.

As RHOBH fans have likely heard, Thomas is facing 20 years behind bars after being indicted in Los Angeles and Chicago for reportedly stealing $3 million from the family members of victims of the Lion Air plane crash in 2018, and an additional $15 million from others.

Following Thomas’ indictment, Erika spoke to the Daily Mail while out in Burbank, telling the outlet she would be speaking out about the matter “soon” — and that she wasn’t worried about her “situation” in terms of potentially being tied into the indictment.

Tom also appeared in court today as ordered by a judge. Below is footage of the 83-year-old walking into the courthouse as he can be seen being helped while he climbed up the stairs.

While Erika has been dragged into a number of lawsuits against Thomas, Cieran McIvoy, a public information officer for the Department of Justice, confirmed to Us Weekly last week that she “is not charged” in the indictment as an insider said the legal action “focuses on the activity involving the law firm.”

“It’s unclear if Erika will be on the witness list for prosecutors because the indictment was just unsealed,” the source added.

In addition to Erika, Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Garcelle Beauvais, Sutton Stracke, Crystal Kung-Minkoff, and Kathy Hilton are expected to return to RHOBH for the new season; Lisa Rinna and Diana Jenkins confirmed their exits from the show last month.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills season 13 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime later this year.
