Priscilla Presley Asks Fans to ‘Ignore the Noise’ Amid Questions About Lisa Marie’s Estate

Priscilla Presley released a statement after taking steps to assume control of her late daughter’s estate.

If you missed it, after Lisa Marie Presley passed away last month, the 77-year-old filed court documents contesting an update to her daughter’s will. The update would have taken control of the estate away from her and given it to Lisa Marie‘s daughter Riley Keough.

Elvis Presley‘s ex commented on the situation and called out an individual she claimed is trying to “speak on behalf of our family.”

Priscilla asked fans to “please ignore ‘the noise’” and to allow the family to handle the situation with “respect, honesty, dignity, integrity and love in a statement shared with Page Six.

She alleged that the “noise” was coming from “an individual that bought their way into the family enterprise.” While she didn’t explicitly name the person, the outlet assumed it was a reference to Joel Weinshanker who is a managing partner at Elvis Presley Enterprises.

Joel spoke out critically about Priscilla‘s motion to resume control of the estate.

She asked for “time” for the family “to work together and sort this out.”

Riley does not appear to have directly commented on the current situation.
