RHONJ Star Melissa Gorga Reveals Where Cheating Rumor Originated From as She Slams Costars’ Infidelity Allegations

Melissa Gorga is addressing all the preposterous cheating allegations that her co-stars are trying to throw at her.

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 has just premiered, and fans are eager to see the drama between Melissa and her sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, aired out. The two have been embroiled in a messy family feud for months.

The feud was apparently ignited by rumors that Melissa had cheated on her husband of 19 years, Joe Gorga, with actor Nick Barrotta. It’s a claim Melissa is tired of having to deny. If anything, she accuses the cast of trying to bring her down for the sake of drama and storylines.

“Typical,” Melissa told E! News. “What are we gonna do if we don’t say Melissa is like this this season? She’s a stripper, she’s that, she’s this, she’ll leave him for a richer man. Meanwhile, my marriage is lasting the longest and holding the strongest, so it’s kind of funny.”

The RHONJ star went on to explain that she feels like her co-stars are projecting their own issues onto her in an effort to take the spotlight off of themselves, which she thinks is a joke.

“It’s almost like they try to put on you what’s happening in their lives, which is very sad,” Melissa said. “What they said about me was just a big game of telephone through 50 people and it got nice little wings on it by the time it got to TV, which is such a joke to me. It’s like you guys could do better than that.”

While Melissa and Teresa have been at odds due to Teresa having partaken in spreading the infidelity rumors about Melissa, apparently the RHONJ OG was not the original source of the allegations. According to Melissa, it came from someone “trying to be on the show.”

“Someone wants to be a Housewife so they’re like, ‘What do I need to do to ruffle feathers to get Bravo to notice me?’ and it never works for them,” she explained to the outlet.

Regardless, Melissa has not and seemingly will not forgive Teresa for her role in spreading the rumors. She says she knows for a fact that Teresa participated in and pushed the infidelity accusations.

Melissa’s not letting it slow her down, though. She says if the RHONJ women want to take her down, then they should try harder.

“It’s like here we go again,” Melissa concluded. “What can we say Melissa does wrong or what can we lie about or who can we find? What person from her past will be jealous and pissed and have them talk s–t on her? It never works girls. Enough.”

The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 13 is currently airing Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. EST on Bravo.
