On the first day of her 6.5-year prison sentence, Jen Shah shared a cryptic post.

The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City star surrendered herself on Friday, February 17, after pleading guilty to running a telemarketing scheme.

Days before her sentence, Andy Cohen also shared his theory that Jen gave castmate Heather Gay her mysterious black eye. A probe into the injury was conducted by Bravo, though nothing was proven or revealed.

On the day she surrendered herself, Jen took to Instagram and shared a cryptic post about “loyalty” from her friend Tyna Edwards, who was once rumored to be joining the show.

“It’s never about the size of the circle,” read the quote that Jen shared, “it’s about the loyalty that’s in it.”

The post continued, “Always & forever here for you, your sweet boys and Coach.”

And just moments ago, Fox 5 News confirmed Jen is currently in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons at the Federal Prison Camp Bryan in Bryan, Texas.

She has officially begun serving her 6.5-year prison sentence, and she is expected to be released in 2029 with time off for good behavior. In addition to prison time, Jen will be required to pay back $6.6 million in restitution, as well as undergo mental health treatment upon her release.

Andy also recently shared his theory that Jen caused Heather’s black eye.

On Watch What Happens Live, guest Lala Kent expressed her belief that a co-star was to blame for the injury.

“I think it’s from a cast member,” declared the 32-year-old, before Andy said, “From Jen Shah? Yeah. I mean, I do too. I don’t think she hit her head on a cabinet and got scratches on her arm.”

During season three, Heather gave conflicting stories about the injury, at one point claiming she knew what happened — before stating she couldn’t remember.

“I blacked out,” said the author in the reunion taping. “I don’t know how it happened.”

She went on to say, “I woke up terrified. I had my phone plugged in, I was in pajamas.” The star added that she was “scared” her cast members would “rewrite the narrative” had they known she couldn’t remember.

“When production came into my room, I told them, I said, ‘I have no idea, I have no memory,’” said Heather. “And then it spun out of control after that, and I take full responsibility, and I’m really sorry. It’s terrifying.”

That morning, Heather soon texted Jen, wanting help in creating “a good cover story.”

“I don’t wanna get anyone in trouble, Jen,” expressed Heather on the show. “So that’s why I need you to help me figure out if someone wants to talk about what really happened last night.”
