‘Saving Private Ryan’ Actor Tom Sizemore Dies at Age 61 After Suffering Brain Aneurysm

Tom Sizemore has sadly died.

The actor, best known for his role in Saving Private Ryan, died at the age of 61 after suffering a brain aneurysm as result of a stroke just a few weeks ago.

His manager Charles Lago, shared a statement about Tom’s passing, via Variety:

“It is with great sadness and sorrow I have to announce that actor Thomas Edward Sizemore (‘Tom Sizemore’) aged 61 passed away peacefully in his sleep today at St Joseph’s Hospital Burbank,” the statement read. “His Brother Paul and twin boys Jayden and Jagger (17) were at his side.”

Earlier this week, his family was making the difficult decision on whether to keep Tom on life support or to let him go peacefully.

Tom had been in critical condition and in a coma since February 18, and his doctors did recommend an end of life decision as there is “no further hope”, it was reported earlier this week.

In addition to Saving Private Ryan, Tom had also been seen in True Romance and Natural Born Killers.
