‘Secret Invasion’ & ‘Loki’ Are Marvel’s Only Confirmed 2023 Shows

Secret Invasion and Loki are the only confirmed Marvel Studios series coming out in 2023. The Hollywood Reporter broke the news in an article discussing the output of Marvel and Star Wars content on Dinsey Plus, revealing that the two companies are pumping the brakes on new content.

The Hollywood Reporter adds that the Echo and Ironheart shows are both being delayed and are now expected to hit the Disney Plus streaming service in 2024. Things have also slowed down on a Nova series that was being developed for Disney Plus.

What to expect from Secret Invasion and Loki season two

Secret Invasion is based on the comic book storyline of the same name, which was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Leinil Francis Yu . The story revolves around a group of Skrulls, an alien race that has the ability to shape-shift and take on the appearance of anyone they want. The Skrulls have infiltrated Earth’s society and are secretly replacing key figures with their own kind in order to take over the planet.

The Secret Invasion comic book event was a huge success and is widely regarded as one of the best Marvel storylines of all time. The Disney Plus series is being led by Samuel L. Jackson, who reprises his role as Nick Fury. It also features Ben Mendelsohn, who played the Skrull Talos in Captain Marvel, and will focus on the aftermath of the events of Spider-Man: Far From Home and other Marvel projects

Meanwhile, Loki season two is one of the most highly-anticipated shows of 2023.
