A new international trailer for Shazam! Fury of the Gods has hit the web.
In just over two weeks, DC fans will be able to experience the highly-anticipated sequel to DC’s Shazam! movie, titled Shazam! Fury of the Gods. The film features the long-awaited return of Billy Batson (played by Asher Angel) as he transforms into the titular hero (played by Zachary Levi) once again, this time taking on the Daughters of Atlas. Fans have been eagerly awaiting any new footage from the film and they were not disappointed with the latest international trailer.
The international Shazam! Fury of the Gods trailer features never-before-seen footage from the film, giving fans a sneak peek at the epic showdown between the Shazam family and the Daughters of Atlas. The villainous trio is portrayed by three powerhouse actresses — Helen Mirren, Lucy Liu, and Rachel Zegler. Check out the sneak peek below.
David F. Sandberg recently announced that Shazam! Fury of the Gods has already been completed ahead of its March release. The synopsis reads as follows: “Bestowed with the powers of the gods, Billy Batson and his fellow foster kids are still learning how to juggle teenage life with having adult Super Hero alter-egos. But when the Daughters of Atlas, a vengeful trio of ancient gods, arrive on Earth in search of the magic stolen from them long ago, Billy—aka Shazam—and his family are thrust into a battle for their superpowers, their lives, and the fate of their world.”
In addition to Shazam! Fury of the Gods, The Flash, Blue Beetle and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom are also currently in various stages of post-production at Warner Bros. Discovery, with all four DC Universe movies set to hit theaters this year. Will the characters from those movies make appearances in the new DC Universe? Only newly-named DC Studios heads James Gunn and Peter Safran Safran know.

The film stars Zachary Levi, Asher Angel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Adam Brody, Ross Butler, Meagan Good, D.J. Cotrona, Grace Caroline Currey, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Marta Millans, Cooper Andrews, Djimon Hounsou, Rachel Zegler, Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren.
