According to Daniel Richtman, a reliable insider, Park Seo-joon is playing a character known as Prince Yan in The Marvels. Yan is the leader of a planet where everyone has to sing to communicate. He is also the husband of Brie Larson’s Carol Danvers, though there’s a twist to that.

Park Seo-joon is a prominent actor in Sourth Korea. The actor is best known for his work in the television shows Kill Me, Heal Me, She Was Pretty, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth, Fight for My Way, What’s Wrong with Secretary Kim and Itaewon Class. Directed by Candyman helmer Nia DaCosta, The Marvels serves as a direct sequel to three Marvel Studios projects — Captain Marvel, WandaVision and Ms. Marvel. It revolves around Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau.

The Marvels reportedly picks up up right where Ms. Marvel left off and sees Carol Danvers teaming up with Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau. The film also features the return of Nick Fury, with Samuel L. Jackson reprising the role after his six-episode Disney Plus series Secret Invasion.

Brie Larson most recently appeared as Captain Marvel in the post-credits scene of the Ms. Marvel finale on Disney Plus. The show’s official synopsis reads as follows: “Marvel Studios’ “Ms. Marvel” is a new, original series that introduces Kamala Khan, a Muslim American teenager growing up in Jersey City. An avid gamer and a voracious fan-fiction scribe, Kamala is a Super Hero mega fan with an oversized imagination — particularly when it comes to Captain Marvel. Yet Kamala feels like she doesn’t fit in at school and sometimes even at home — that is, until she gets super powers like the heroes she’s always looked up to. Life gets better with super powers, right?”

Ms. Marvel stars Iman Vellani, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Matt Lintz, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Fawad Khan, Mehwish Hayat, and Farhan Akhtar. Episodes of the series were directed by Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, with Bisha K. Ali serving as the head writer.
