Teddi Mellencamp Talks “Unbelievably Hard” Days with Husband Edwin, Admits ‘Wanting to Give Up’ at Times

Teddi Mellencamp addressed “unbelievably hard” days in her marriage with Edwin Arroyave, and admitted she sometimes “want[s] to give up.”

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shares three children with the 45-year-old, and their youngest was born while Teddi was still a castmate.

In 2021, Teddi told singer John Mayer “go f**k yourself,” after he allegedly insinuated she hit on him at Andy Cohen’s baby shower. At the time, she explained on her “Two T’s In A Pod” podcast that the Grammy-winning artist misinterpreted her words.

In a brutally honest Valentine’s Day post on Instagram, Teddi addressed her marriage with Edwin.

“And here we are… 14 Valentines later,” Teddi wrote in a caption. First, she seemed to draw a comparison between her own marriage and the relationship of her father, John Mellencamp, and her mother Vicky.

“I don’t have one single memory of my parents together,” she said and suggested she previously couldn’t imagine having a loving relationship.

Addressing her marriage to Edwin, Teddi admitted, “Some days are unbelievably hard, and I want to give up.”

The star expressed that she and Edwin have learned each other’s strengths and “weaknesses” and are improving at not “tear[ing] each other down.”

Despite the hardships, Teddi called Edwin her “Valentine,” and said she’s “proud” of them as a couple. In the post, she uploaded two photos of the couple: one at the beginning of their relationship, and one today.

“We can do this,” wrote the 41-year-old, addressing her husband directly, “and continue laughing along the way … I love you.”
