This Heartstopper Star Is Joining Disney+’s WandaVision Spin-Off – E! Online

His Heartstopper castmates, including Locke, have rallied around him, calling out fans on social media that have been speculating about his sexuality. 

“You owe nothing to anyone,” Locke wrote on Twitter. “I’m so proud of you my friend.”

Costar Sebastian Croft also chimed in, adding, “Kit Connor, the world doesn’t deserve you. Love you my friend.” 

Plus, showrunner Alice Olsen, who wrote the graphic novel series that the show is based on, defended Connor, saying, “I truly don’t understand how people can watch Heartstopper and then gleefully spend their time speculating about sexualities and judging based on stereotypes. I hope all those people are embarrassed as F–K. Kit you are amazing.”
