Wednesday’s Jenna Ortega is Coming To Saturday Night Live

[ad_1]

Wednesday is temporarily taking over Saturday. Jenna Ortega will host Saturday Night Live for the first time on March 11 with musical guest The 1975.

With her Saturday Night Live hosting gig, Ortega’s star continues to rise.  She starred as Wednesday Addams on Netflix’s smash hit series Wednesday, which was streamed for over one billion hours and was recently renewed for a second season. She also stars in the highly anticipated Scream VI, which hits theaters Friday, March 10, just in time for her Saturday Night Live hosting stint.

She’s not the only recently announced SNL host having a banner year. Fresh off a Super Bowl win against his brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will host SNL on March 4 with a similarly named musical guest, Kelsea Ballerini. Kelce folows in the footsteps of other football players turned SNL hosts like Peyton and Eli Manning, Tom Brady, and, most recently, JJ Watt.

But before any of that, Woody Harrelson returns to host Saturday Night Live on February 25 with musical guest Jack White. Harrelson, whose film Champions debuts on March 10 and who also stars in best picture nominee Triangle of Sadness, will join the exclusive “five-timers club” of celebrities who’ve hosted the sketch series five times with Paul Rudd, Scarlett Johansson, and John Mulaney. Here’s hoping Harrelson is welcomed to the five-timers club with a nice steak dinner with Lisa from Temecula
