Jack had a brief role in 2019′s Avengers: Endgame as the kid on the bike who shares a moment with Paul Rudd‘s Scott Lang after he escapes the quantum realm. He also had roles in indie movies like 2017′s Extraordinary and 2018′s The Night Sitter.

For the first two years of filming, Jack was in a performance-capture suit with the rest of the cast when they filmed their scenes as the Na’vi people. He then spent two years filming live-action sequences, so he was between 14 and 16 for his scenes.

Spider is the son of Stephen Lang‘s character Quaritch who was born on Pandora and abandoned when the rest of the humans went back to Earth as he was too young to travel.

“Oh man, I was such a big fan of Stephen Lang in the first film. He played such a great villain, so I just felt honored and really excited to play a great villain’s son. We call him ‘Slang,’ and he’s just one of the nicest, most welcoming dudes there is. He still has this tough, gritty, old-school cowboyness to him that I love, and he’s just a really good dude. He was always there for me, and so was Sigourney. They both really took me under their wing,” Jack told THR.
