BlackSky (ticker: BSKY) operates a network of satellites in low Earth orbit that provide real-time information about the planet. The company says it generates imagery at a fraction of the cost of other technologies—such as aircraft flyovers. It finished the year with 14 satellites in space, enough to provide nearly real-time coverage over the most densely populated portions of the globe.
