Adam Goodes joins Sydney Swans’ AFL premiership reunion

[ad_1]

Sydney Swans great Adam Goodes has joined his former teammates at the SCG as part of the club’s 10-year AFL premiership celebrations.

Goodes and much of the squad that beat Hawthorn in the 2012 grand final started the official premiership reunion with a lap of honour at the SCG while attending the Swans’ match against the Gold Coast Suns.

The dual Brownlow medallist has distanced himself from AFL events, but not from the Swans since retiring at the end of 2015 after playing 372 senior matches.

Much of Goodes’s final AFL season was marred by crowds booing him during matches.
