NBA DFS: Top DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy basketball picks for December 6 include Donovan Mitchell

[ad_1]

A three-game slate on Tuesday means the NBA DFS player pool may be a little shallow for daily Fantasy basketball players. Thus, you may have to go deeper into some of the rosters to find players to complete your NBA DFS lineups. Finding low-cost but high-reward players would be ideal, and Caleb Martin of the Heat could be that kind of option. He doesn’t carry the name recognition of Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro or Bam Adebayo, but he’s been a constant in Miami’s lineup all year amidst the team’s various injuries.

Martin has started all but one game this season and has really taken his game to another level as of late. He’s averaged 16.7 points over his last six after putting up just 9.6 points over his first 17 games. What other bargains could factor into your Tuesday NBA DFS strategy? Before making any NBA DFS picks, be sure to check out the NBA DFS advice, player rankings, stacks and top daily Fantasy basketball picks from SportsLine’s Mike McClure.

McClure is a DFS professional with over $2 million in career winnings. He’s also a predictive data engineer at SportsLine who uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every minute of every game 10,000 times, taking factors like matchups, statistical trends and injuries into account.

This allows him to find the best NBA DFS values and create optimal lineups that he shares only over at SportsLine. They’re a must-see for any NBA DFS player.

On Monday, he highlighted Pacers center guard Andrew Nembhard as one of his top NBA DFS picks on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The result: Nembhard exploded for 31 points, 13 assists and eight rebounds, setting career-highs in all three categories as he returned 64.5 points on DraftKings and 59.1 points on FanDuel. Anybody that included him in their lineups was well on the way to a profitable day.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to NBA action on Tuesday and locked in his top daily Fantasy basketball picks. You can only see them by heading to SportsLine.

Top NBA DFS picks for Tuesday, December 6

One of McClure’s top NBA DFS picks is Cavaliers guard Donovan Mitchell, who is listed at $8,700 on DraftKings and $8,800 on FanDuel. Mitchell has been stellar in his first season in Cleveland, averaging a career-high of 28.4 points. He’s also contributing 4.9 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 1.4 steals and ranks seventh in the league with 85 made three-pointers.

The Cavs take on the Lakers tonight and Mitchell dropped 33 points on LA when he saw it earlier this season. Dating back to last season when he was with Utah, Mitchell has scored at least 29 points in three straight games versus the Lakers. Cleveland comes in after having last played on Sunday and having one day of rest has proven to be beneficial to Mitchell. He’s averaging 30.3 points with a single day of rest (12 games) compared to 26.2 points on any other rest schedule (10 games).

Another part of McClure’s optimal NBA DFS strategy includes rostering Nuggets G/F Bruce Brown ($6,100 on DraftKings and $5,600 on FanDuel). With Michael Porter Jr. (heel) out, Brown has slid into the starting lineup over the last six games and averaged 12.5 points, 5.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.8 steals over this stretch.

Denver has a matchup with Dallas on Tuesday and Brown has acquitted himself nicely in two previous games this year against the Mavericks. He scored a combined 30 points with 15 assists over the contests, which came in a back-to-back set in mid-November. Brown also enters in on a hot streak, having scored in double-figures in 10 of his last 12 games after starting the year with double-digit games in just four of his first 11 contests.
