After an impressive win against the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, the Los Angeles Lakers’ road trip continues with a matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers.
The pregame narrative: Portland’s offence has been explosive lately thanks to Damian Lillard’s scoring, but his passing is a different story. Drew Eubanks may have become a starter temporarily, but that doesn’t mean he’ll produce on the glass.

Lakers vs. Trail Blazers same-game parlay
Parlay: Blazers over 119.5 points + Lillard under 8.5 assists + Eubanks under 8.5 rebounds (+700)
Trail Blazers over 119.5 points (-109) : Portland’s offence ranks 12th in the NBA in points per game (114.9), but the team has found a new level lately.
In the Trail Blazers’ last 10 games, they’ve hit this over eight times and averaged 124.4 points per contest. That production has been driven by a hot streak from Lillard, who has scored a league-leading 37.9 points per game during that span.
Not only is Portland sizzling offensively, but it also draws a favourable matchup on Monday.
The Lakers have a porous defence overall, allowing the fourth-most points in the NBA (118.3/game). Los Angeles is even worse on the road conceding 120.4 points per game.
Considering the team’s recent play, it seems safe to assume that Portland can be as effective on offence as the average team hosting the Lakers.
Other parlay legs
Lillard under 8.5 assists (-117) : Although we like Portland’s offence to thrive, this is an aggressive line for Lillard.
Portland’s superstar guard has been filling the bucket at a ridiculous clip recently, but his ball distribution hasn’t been as noteworthy. The veteran has hit this under in 13 of his last 20 games and 68.2% of his appearances overall.
Los Angeles does not have an impressive defence, but removing Russell Westbrook from the mix should help the Lakers perform better against point guards like Lillard.
We’re expecting a massive point total from Portland’s franchise player, but assists may not follow — especially with centre and top interior threat Jusuf Nurkic out.
Eubanks under 8.5 rebounds (-132) : Although Eubanks has ascended to Portland’s starting lineup, this line is a touch ambitious.
The veteran forward has topped it just four times in 54 appearances this season, and he’s fallen short in each of his last five games as a starter.
The Lakers aren’t great on the glass as their rebounding rate ranks 15th in the league, but they are more fearsome on the boards with Anthony Davis in the game — and he’s listed as probable for this one.
This under would be worth hitting against all but the weakest rebounding teams, and the Lakers don’t fit that description when they have Davis.
