16-year-old boy fatally shot in Dallas, police say

DALLAS — A 16-year-old boy was shot and killed in Dallas on Friday night, police said.

The victim, identified as a 16-year-old male, was taken to a hospital, where he died, police said.

The teen’s name has not been released. More information about how the shooting happened was not available.

Police at the scene were investigating at an apartment building on Southern Oaks, but more information was not released.
