Police investigating after they say they found a man shot dead in a Sansom Park apartment

SANSOM PARK, Texas — A man was found shot and killed in his apartment in Sansom Park Thursday, police say.

Police responded to the apartment complex in 3100 block of La Junta Street about 4:30 p.m. Thursday after they say a caller reported finding a man unresponsive and bleeding in his apartment.

Officers and EMS arrived to find a man, identified as Logan Perkins, shot, and Perkins was pronounced dead at the scene, police say.

Police are asking anyone with information about the shooting to call them at 817-626-1921.
